TITLE I WAIVER REQUEST

Symonds and Jonathan Daniels Elementary Schools have requested a waiver of the US Department of Education, to allow these schools to continue providing Title I services for the next four school years. This waiver is needed because Symonds and Daniels fall below the average poverty percentage in the Keene School District. Title I funding flows based on poverty indicators, but students are eligible for services based on academic criteria.  Keene has been successful with our waiver application
for the past 10 years.
